About Us

As a plus-size woman, I've never found shopping for clothes to be an enjoyable experience. I've always had to search from store to store at the mall, searching through their straight-sized inventory for the small section of clothes in my size. And I didn't even like most of what I found in my size...the items either weren't my style, weren't good quality, were too expensive, or didn't follow the same trends as other sizes. If I shopped at the chain stores that specialized in plus-sized clothes, I felt like I had to pay outrageous prices just to have access to clothes in my size. After shopping I always felt frustrated, ugly, and unimportant. Most importantly - I felt it was wrong to be who I am. 

And so Amanda Rose Co was born. I am setting out to change the plus-size shopping experience. I want to create a community made for women just like me, who have had experiences just like I've had. I will search high and low to procure clothing items and accessories for a variety of situations that are selected to make women feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin.
